President- Jeff Versaw:  Jeff has been working with children and play therapy for over 10 years while working for the Jicarilla Apache Nation. Besides providing clinical consultation and support to the staff of the Jicarilla Child and Family Education Center, Jeff also provides consultation to the families of the community of Dulce, New Mexico. Jeff is committed as the president of NMAPT to work to see our chapter grow within the Association of Play Therapy, and to expand his use of play therapy into the emerging field of Infant Mental Health.  Contact: j_versaw@yahoo.com

  Secretary & Past-President - Courtney Lynch, MA LPCC is a play therapist at the Christian Counseling Center of New Mexico.  She has been trained as a play therapist under the supervision of Carol Brennan, Ph.D LPCC RPT-S and Byron Norton, Ed.D. Contact: cal772003@yahoo.com

President-Elect - Risa Lehrer, MA LPCC RPT has her own practice in Taos, and works for the Taos Day School as a counselor.  She is dedicated to aiding children in becoming all they deserve to be. She looks forward to serving on the board and helping APT in NM grow. Contact: risal66@netscape.com

Treasurer - Michael Ollom, MSW LISW has been doing play therapy almost seven years. He has been engaged in a Play Therapy Supervision relationship with a Play Therapy Supervisor, and is also in supervision with another clinician from an Art Therapy orientation.  He is collecting his education and supervision hours to become a registered play therapist.  He practices play therapy in Los Lunas, and has recently become an administrator in the agency he works with. Member- Jodi Creager, LPCC Jodi has her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Counseling and Guidance from NMSU. Jodi has lived in New Mexico most of her life. She is an outpatient therapist at Families and Youth, Inc., a non-profit agency in Las Cruces. Jodi has also co-lead two teen anger management groups for several years and developed and co-leads a young men’s issues group. She is focusing on becoming a registered play therapist and believes that people of all ages benefit from the wealth of play therapy. Contact: jcreager@fyinm.org

Member - Geri Glover, Ph.D. LPCC RPT-S is an assistant professor in the Education Department of the College of Santa Fe.  She had been practicing as a clinical counselor/play therapist for that past 15 years prior to joining the CSF faculty. Contact: gerijglover@comcast.net

Member -Mary Hokom, MA, LPCC,RPT, IMH-E®  Mary works with  the Western New Mexico University Early Childhood Programs for the  Family Counseling Center in Silver City, New Mexico as a family facilitator.   The focus of her work is with young children and their families providing therapy and parenting education. She also works with master level interns in the counseling department at the lab site, teaching them play therapy and providing supervision.  She teaches university classes and workshops on the specific techniques of play to parents, providers, teachers and counselors throughout the southwest region.  She has sat on the NMAPT board for the past three years and looks forward to the future growth and development of the association. Member- Robyn Rehbein, MA, LPCC  Robyn Rehbein has been counseling since 2003 and began her exploration into play therapy in 2008. Robyn is the Clinical Supervisor for the Las Cruces office of Southwest Family Guidance Center and Institute and also works part-time as a therapist on the Behavioral Medicine Unit at Memorial Medical Center. Robyn is from Austin, Texas and made New Mexico her home in 2000 when she moved to work on a Masters Degree at New Mexico State University and happened to meet her husband 8 months later. Robyn has a love for dogs and enjoys being a “mom” to 3 dogs and one day hopes to incorporate dogs into her practice.Contact: robynrehbein@gmail.com

  Member- John Rich
, LPCC John's foundational approach to life is interpersonal and Adlerian. John has lived and worked in Rio Arriba County for the past ten years. Additionally, John has completed advanced training at the University of Missouri in improving mental health in schools. Several days a week John work as a play therapist in Mesa Vista Consolidated Schools. John feels it is the ideal job himself. John has a limited private practice in Espanola focusing on child-parent relationships and alleviating anxiety disorders. John uses play therapy, sand tray activities, art activities, structured sensory interventions, bibliotherapy, and family therapy techniques. John states he has a small spoiled, sassy goat herd and three overly dignified llamas in Abiquiu which are his entertainment, solace, and joy.Contact: jljrich@yahoo.com
