Time & Location
Nov 15, 2026, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Vital Spaces, 1600 St Michaels Dr Annex, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA
About the event
Self-reflection and cultural awareness are core competencies in play therapy that require clinicians to continuously examine their own biases, values, and cultural identities to ensure ethical and effective treatment. During this training, therapists will actively examine their own cultural lenses, assumptions, and potential blind spots to understand how personal viewpoints impact the therapeutic bond. Seasoned therapists will dive into deepening their supervision skills in this area by engaging in an ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and acknowledging that a therapist can never fully master another person's lived culture.
